Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro, an iconic romance hentai, as been out for 20 years since its release.

Origin

The hentai is primarily based on Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro (そらのいろ、みずのいろ), an eroge developed by Ciel and illustrated by Tony Taka, released on June 25, 2004.

Himajin and Nihikime no Dozeu released its first game on July 28, 2006. This hentai concluded on June 27, 2008 with two animated episodes.

Story

Asa & Natsume are both in love with Hajime Saisho. Instead of fighting over him, they both promised to share him equally. However, both girls have to leave him by the end of the summer. As the summer days go by, they each spend their precious time with Hajime, while the day of their fated departure draws near.

Reception

The exact level of success that Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro achieved in Japan is unknown. However, it is generally believed to have received a moderately positive reception.

Overseas, the series was also well received, although its popularity increased significantly after the iconic scene in which Asa masturbates in bed went viral. From that point on, the hentai became one of the most memorable titles among fans of the genre.

Over the years, Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro has lost some of the recognition it enjoyed during its peak. Even so, it remains fondly remembered by those who watched it at the time and is still regarded by many hentai fans as a classic.
